“A FIVE-STAR LISTEN”

ADVENTURES IN THEATRELAND

The debut studio album from British singer Henry Patterson, Broadway Maybe reimagines the musical theatre canon through jazz while capturing the hopes, doubts and ambition of a performer at the beginning of a career. Recorded at Abbey Road Studios and framed as a single audition, the album transforms songs from A Chorus Line, My Fair Lady, West Side Story, Les Misérables and Sondheim into an intimate internal monologue. Featuring new arrangements by Patterson and musical director Leigh Stanford Thompson and a guest appearance from Jim Caruso, Broadway Maybe asks the question familiar to every aspiring performer: what happens when the opportunity finally comes?
